I’ve got a few tips for preparing to make your recipe, in case you don’t have much experience. When you’re choosing your sprouts for this recipe, look for ones that are similar in size, so they cook in the same amount of time.

I also love that you really only use oil to coat the sprouts lightly and the air fryer does the rest! You can set each Brussels sprout in the air fryer basket as you wrap it in the bacon to make it easy.

Other add-ins you might enjoy are red pepper slivers, onion pieces or diced shallots. You can cut them in half but you might want to parboil them for 5 minutes before air frying them, so they cook all the way through and don’t get dry and hard.

Completely dry them with a paper towel then proceed as the recipe states and you should be good to go! Substitute 1 teaspoon olive oil instead of the bacon fat to coat before cooking.
