More importantly, as soon as you mix the dough make sure you immediately start sir frying lakes. The longer the dough stays it starts to release liquid because of the vegetables and milk content.

Top them with sour cream and chives or green onions and serve with your choice of dressing. Then place all the lakes on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake it at 400-degree Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes or until nicely golden browned in color and crisped.
For stove top : Heat about 1 tbsp olive on a skillet and place the round lakes on it 1-2 at a time. Gently flip over to the other side with the help of a flat spatula and cook again until brown and crispy.
You may simply put cauliflower florets in a food process and pulse it or crush it. This recipe make about 12 lakes and the serving size is 2 per person.
