SEASONINGS We coated ours with olive oil and soy sauce which adds both salt and color. Whisk olive oil & soy sauce together and toss with mushrooms (per recipe below).
Remove mushrooms, toss with garlic butter & garnish with parsley. You can use store-bought or simply mix a bit of salted butter with a small clove of garlic, a dash of lemon juice, and some fresh parsley.

Her greatest passion is creating in the kitchen and making deliciously comforting recipes for the everyday home cook! These AIRFRYERMUSHROOMS are tossed in garlic butter for loads of big flavor.
Easy to make in the air fryer and delicious to eat as a main course, as a side, or over a juicy steak. Nearly every savory recipe could benefit from just a little of garlic.
Not only were these a simple savory lunch, it took me less than 5 minutes to fully clean my kitchen when I was done cooking them! Put your white mushrooms to a large mixing bowl and toss with melted butter.
Place the mushrooms in a single layer to your air fryer basket. If you want to freeze them raw, you should place them on a parchment lined baking sheet in your freezer until frozen, then transfer them to a freezer bag with as much air as possible removed.

One easy thing to do to prolong the life of your air fryer is to apply oil through a pump bottle, instead of using canned non-stick spray. The canned spray will damage your air fryer basket over time.
And the ability to clean with the dishwasher was a must for us in choosing air fryers. Add the mushrooms to a large mixing bowl and toss with the butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

I have long been on the fence about some new gadgets available for the kitchen, specifically pressure cookers and air fryers. My dilemma was solved this Christmas as we were gifted a combination pressure cooker/ air fryer by my lovely mother-in-law.
We played with broccoli, zucchini, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, and more. We realized we had a half package of mushrooms hanging out in the fridge, leftover from the previous evenings dinner and decided to give them a go in the air fryer.
So we played around some more and came up with a great recipe for air fryer stuffed mushrooms. My dad, fresh off of my parents’ divorce, picked up my brother and I for his weekend visit.
And even though I can’t recall much of the conversation that day, I remember that it was important to Dad to do something nice with us. On a side note, if you’ve never been to the 94th Aero Squadron, I highly recommend a visit.
In addition to the meal there with Dad, I remember going back with a prom date, and then later with my husband for a nice night out. Its name comes from the squadron commanded by Columbus native and World War I flying ace Eddie Rickenbacker and is decorated with war memorabilia from both the WWI and WWII periods.
On that first visit I remember they had radios at the table that allowed diners to listen in to the control tower chatter at the nearby Columbus airport. I don’t remember them on subsequent visits and I can see why this would no longer be allowed in our post 9/11 world.
They’ve tried it out on boyfriends and fiancés and it has passed the test, with their significant others frequently seeking seconds. We love cooking (as evidenced by our growing recipe collection) and plan to experiment more with the air fryer and eventually get started with the pressure cooker as well.
When I made both french fries and these mushrooms, I only used 1 tablespoon of oil. Using less oil means that there will be less fat content and calories than the deep-fried versions of the same food.
DES’ PRO TIP: When using an air fryer, shaking the basket is key. Simply remove the basking during the cooking process, shake the contents and return the basket back to the air fryer.
To make airfryermushrooms, you will need oil, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, pinko bread crumbs, egg, milk, granulated garlic, salt and of course, mushrooms. I also like to use mushrooms that are a little on the smaller side, so they can be eaten in one or two bites.
Use a damp paper towel to gently rub away any debris from the outside of the mushrooms. Like most of the fried foods I make, I find it works best to do an egg/milk wash followed by bread crumbs.
1 pound criminal mushrooms 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 cup pinko bread crumbs 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon granulated garlic 1/2 teaspoon salt Parmesan cheese, for garnish parsley, for garnish 1Use a damp paper towel to dust off any debris from the mushrooms.
