I especially like its Wi-Fi connectivity, it notifies me when the oven has reached the desired heat and when the timer ends. The chip-type of noise generator now being used by GE is much too low, even when set to maximum.
I would recommend this oven to a friend, but frankly disclose the sound issues. Shortly after reaching the temperature it is programmed for the oven will drop anywhere from 25-50 degrees, and that is without ever opening the door.
I like the smooth floor; but with the hidden heat coil it takes a bit longer to reach temperatures. When the update started the oven completely blacked out and looked to have died.
I called for service and had to reboot the oven and came back after a little time. I like the disappearing controls but I think the look of the oven is a bit plain or dated.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Emily from DissapointingWe had this new oven installed, when an old version of it broke down. With Christmas coming up and our family of 20 staying for a week we decided to replace the oven.
We had the oven installed a couple of weeks before Christmas giving us enough time to figure it out. Another thing is it is so quiet compared to our prior double oven which had a very noisy fan.
We replaced an old GE double oven and this one fit directly in the same location so installation was a breeze. The installation instruction did lack some information but for any handy person should not be an issue.
Also, it stated in the write-up that if replacing a current GE oven that it would fit and it did. My wife is in the process of checking out all features and making sure that the thermostat works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mary165 from Love the convection oven ! When remodeling our kitchen, I researched all the best appliances to buy. After reading many reviews I decided to buy this GE double oven.
The convection settings really do provide a vast improvement over my old oven. Now the racks can't come in and out of the oven without scratching the sides.
Not to mention the convection feature and the built-in probe to monitor your foods temperature when needed! Rated 2 out of 5 by plant geek from very disappointed with Sabbath modeBefore buying my new double wall oven, I was happily using a GE freestanding range with a Sabbath mode.
So, I gave it no thought when I moved and needed to replace the existing oven. Although my new ovens work well as expected, the Sabbath mode has definitely been redesigned and does not satisfy me at all.
This feature has been changed so that you can no longer turn the oven on when in Sabbath mode and then have it go off AUTOMATICALLY. Rated 1 out of 5 by LadyDi413 from MAKES KITCHEN Hot had my double ovens installed last Saturday and I baked in it for the first time last night.
Heat blows out from the bottom and makes the kitchen HOT! I previously had GE ovens, but they did not blow so much hot air.
You don't have to lean way over to get the heavy turkey out of the oven ! Date published: 2014-03-26 As we looked closer at the design, inside and out, we knew this was one special appliance.
Oven lights are bright so you can have a good view of your food showing cooking progression. Rated 5 out of 5 by Progress from Best investment for our kitchen were back and forth on which oven we wanted for our kitchen.
Rated 1 out of 5 by DoBetter2020 from Looks great-- does not work well. Does not hold the temperature. For a person who just uses the oven to warm up pizza or cook a pot roast, should be just fine.
This oven does not hold a consistent temperature, and that's a disaster for bakers. After years of effortless baking in my old oven, every cake now falls with this new one-- just as it's beginning to brown.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Michael from Cool techie featuresThis double oven is a dream to cook in. The app controlled features are very cool and it is sleek and very clean looking.
Love that the lighted controls fade away after a moment of non-use so you are left with a beautiful clean look. Rated 1 out of 5 by Dr tom from Off to bad startInstalled in new home and tried out for first time last Friday for daughters 18th birthday party hosting nine of her friends for slumber party.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bev1220 from Where is the lighter's no switch to turn on the light without opening up the door. Double ovens are great when entertaining and holiday dinners so you can prepare multiple dishes at the same time without having to let one get cold.
Chef man 6.3 Quart Digital Air Fryer+ Rotisserie, Dehydrator, Convection Oven, 8 Touch Screen Presets Fry, Roast, Dehydrate & Bake, BPA-Free, Auto Shutoff, Accessories Included, XL Family Size, Black They create a nice “fried” finish that your oven range can't compete with, as well as, reheating results that blow away the average microwave.
Plus, an air fryer requires only a small amount of oil to make foods crispy with a fraction of the calories and fat of traditional cooking methods, like deep-frying. Our top performers air fried food to a crispy texture with a moist interior and were easy to use with large, easy-to-read controls that barely required the owner’s manual.
Cooked food the quickest in our tests Easy to use with large, intuitive buttons It scored the highest marks across the board for ease of use, thanks to its easy-to-use and -read buttons and clear owner’s manual.
During our tests, the air fryer basket slid in and out easily, which made handling a breeze. We’re fans of the basket’s slick, ceramic interior and removable tray, which makes it nonstick.
The tray also fits snugly and securely on the bottom of the basket so you don’t have to worry about it falling out when you turn the food out onto a plate. Both are dishwasher safe and easy to clean, even if you choose to hand wash.
In addition to being easy to use, The Ninja Hairdryer Max XL scored the highest in performance. The model we tested comes with a broiling rack for even quicker and juicier results and melty cheese.
The different settings are programmed with unique maximum and minimum temperatures, so you can intuitively achieve different cooking results. One thing to keep in mind is its vented basket, which promotes air circulation, also allows for dripping if you don’t empty the grease buildup between rounds.
The air fryer basket is large (6 quarts) and square, which creates more cooking space than its round competitors, making a smart home investment for a family. We tested the pictured digital version, which not only made the most evenly-colored toast, but also the crispiest air fried food in the shortest amount of time.
The rectangular 15.5 by 16-inch air fry rack offers a large cooking surface and sits atop a drip/crumb tray for easy cleanup. The Color’s 3.7-quart square basket offers a lot of cooking space, especially compared to its round competitors.
The control panel is loaded with presets that are programmed with recommended cooking temperatures and times, including a preheat option, which is not common on air fryers. In our tests, the Color scored high for ease of use, and over 800 five-star reviewers on Amazon agree.
Frozen fries required almost 10 minutes less than the manufacturer’s instructions, so keep an eye on the goodies you’re cooking. The racks stack, which allow you to air fry thin and dehydrate up to four layers at a time.
Our favorite feature of the Philips Premium Hairdryer is its compact shape that still cooks enough food for one to two portions. At 2.5 quarts, it’s the smallest of the Philips air fryers, which comes in XL and XXL sizes.
In our tests, the lid helped make crisp frozen fries that were moist on the inside, not dried out and evenly golden. It also allows for air frying greasy foods, such as sausages, which are not typically recommended in an air fryer because they can cause smoking.
In addition to the lid, the Philips is very easy to use with a user-friendly control panel and four preset settings. We love that it comes in an assortment of colors that pop, unlike most air fryers on the market.
