But while you scroll through the never-ending rabbit hole of genius kitchen gadgets, you might be surprised to find a plethora of new direct-to-consumer, high-quality cookware brands that will make you feel like a star of “Top Chef.” While we’ve been obsessing over some of the most popular DTC brands like Away for modernized suitcases, Wary Parker for convenient prescription eyewear, Casper for mattresses in a box and Ever lane for chic wardrobe basics, there were also several new cookware companies popping up under our noses the whole time, and here, we’re highlighting our favorites.

For instance, Great Jones was founded by two women who have been childhood friends for 20 years, and Field Company was started by two brothers who named their business after their grandmother. No matter your expertise, Caraway specializes in offering cookware that is made with non-toxic surfaces and can easily be organized in your cabinets.

While Material Kitchen is known for its cookware like its coated pan, which uses a one-of-a-kind stainless steel alloy built around a core of copper, the brand also has a variety of utensils and knives that you can buy as bundles. Founded by BFFs Sierra Thwart and Maddy Models in 2018, Great Jones is that cookware company you’ve probably seen taking over your Instagram feed but for good reason.

Not only are we obsessed with its minimalist-inspired matte black hue, but if you start with one thing from Equal Parts, let it be the best -selling ceramic-coated Big Pan. There’s nothing better than sharing a meal with friends, and one of Our Place’s main mission is to create products “that connect people over home-cooking.” Not only will you find Our Place’s best -selling Always Pan that does the work of eight pieces of traditional cookware, the company also focuses on offering kitchen items that help bring people closer together.

Stackable dishes and cups that’ll instantly make your dinner parties seem fancier while also keeping your cabinet more organized. What makes this cookware special though is that the brand prides itself on sourcing and using materials from family-owned manufacturers in the U.S., France and Italy to craft quality items you can use over and over.

For example, blue carbon steel pans have always been a French staple, but when Made In decided to put them on the radar in the U.S., the company found a carbon steel factory that’s been making the pans for almost 300 years, and now it’s one of the company ’s best -selling items. You won’t see those retail markups, and all of its items were crafted from hundreds of cooks’ feedback.

Started by two brothers who inherited 1930s cast iron pans from their grandmother’s family (who the brand is named after), Field Company was born after the two began obsessing with learning how to restore and refurbish vintage cast iron pans. Now the company specializes in perfecting the cast iron skillet by making it a smoother, lighter and easier-to-use version of this classic American kitchen tool.

It has a natural non-stick surface, is superior when it comes to heat retention and since it has a long lifespan, it just might become that family heirloom you pass down to your grandkids, too. With retailers squeezing profits and labor costs on the rise, most cookware companies are moving production overseas.

Since 1967, during the midst of the United States Steel age, All-Clad has been the front most brand of bonded, layered cookware. Founded by metallurgist John Slam, All-Clad has been making fully-clad cookware since 1971 in Canonsburg, just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

You can find their cookware in kitchen supplies stores like Williams Sonoma and Macy’s, or online on Amazon. Founded 1967 Where It’s Made Canonsburg, PA Number of Stainless Collections 10 Construction Fully-clad Exterior Material Stainless steel, copper, or hard-anodized aluminum Interior Material Stainless steel Core Material(s) Heavy-gauge aluminum or copper Oven-Safe Temperature (degrees F) 600 Broiler-Safe Yes Compatible With Induction Yes (except C4 Copper and LTD collections) Warranty Limited Lifetime Price $$$$$ You can’t talk about the best cookware made in the USA without mentioning All-Clad.

Not only has its stood the test of time for nearly five decades, but, over the years, they’ve continued to innovate and produce cookware to meet the needs of modern chefs. It’s a well-rounded brand, but the stainless steel collections steal the spotlight due to their unparalleled construction, variety, design, cooking performance, and durability.

The pots and pans have some weight, especially those with four or more layers, but the stay-cool ergonomic handle design makes it easy to maneuver while being sturdy and comfortable. From the Copper Core line to the simple elegance of the original All-Clad Master Chef design, you can choose from high-gloss and brushed stainless cookware sets to suit your culinary style.

Most stainless steel lines are induction-compatible, oven and broiler safe, and beautiful enough to use as a serving platter, offering a seamless flow from cook top to the table. All-Clad stainless steel is oven safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, broiler-safe, and suitable for all cook tops, including induction (C4 Copper and LTD are not induction-compatible).

Founders Chip Malt and Jake Kali ck are lifelong friends who continue to grow their direct-to-consumer brand, one piece at a time. Yet, you’ll find that each piece is thoughtfully created with the home chef in mind.

Made In manufactures its stainless steel and non-stick cookware in the USA and sells it exclusively on MadeInCookware.com ; you won’t find it at any retail store. By selling directly to the customer, Made In cuts out the middlemen, allowing them to offer a premium product for a much lower price.

Made In offers fully-clad stainless steel (check out my review) and blue carbon steel cookware (check out my review), but in this section, I’m going to tell why their 5-ply, triple-coated frying pans are the best non-stick cookware made in the USA. Made In is the best American-made non-stick cookware due to its quality construction, superior cooking performance, ease of maintenance, and durability.

In this section, I’ll explore the benefits and features of Made In non-stick cookware, its recent accolades, and list its pros and cons to help guide your purchase decision. It’s worth mentioning because full-clad cookware offers exceptional heat conduction, retention, and durability.

Besides superior heat distribution, the steel base makes these pans compatible with induction cook tops. Most of the competitors’ non-stick pans have a non-magnetic aluminum exterior that doesn’t work with induction cook tops.

The stay-cool, ergonomically-designed handle is riveted on the side for a sure grip while cooking or transferring the pan from cook top to oven. Food slides around with ease, and the fully-clad construction offers superior heat control.

By the way, stay away from aerosol cooking spray if you want your pan to look good and retain its non-stick qualities. While it’s true that non-stick pans eventually need replacing (unlike quality stainless steel), Made In claims its cookware is proven to last ten times longer than other high-end non-stick brands and 30 times longer than non-stick ceramic cookware.

In the few years since launching, Made In has received thousands of 5-star reviews from verified purchasers. The brand has also received praise from the likes of Consumer Reports, CNET, and Good Housekeeping.

Viking is a Greenwood, Mississippi-based company best known for its high-end kitchen appliances (ovens, cook tops, refrigerators, etc. Like Viking, some Clifton cookware collections are made in America while others are not, so you have to read the fine print before you buy.

I recently caught up with a representative at Clifton, and they confirmed that only the Elite (exclusive to Williams Sonoma) and Unison collections are 100% made in the US. Heritage is a family-owned company that’s been producing premium multi-clad stainless steel cookware in their Clarksville, Tennessee factory for over 40 years.

With fully-clad 5ply construction and a triple-layer Scot-free coating, it offers the heat conduction and durability of premium stainless steel cookware and the convenience of non-stick. Lodge cookware comes in a multitude of sizes and shapes with the choice of seasoned or enameled cast iron, depending on your preference.

You can find Lodge cookware on Amazon or in stores like Crate and Barrel and SUR La Table. Cake and cookies came out evenly browned and had a fine texture with few air pockets, and broccoli also came out nice and consistently crisp.

We like that the set comes with two round cakes pans so you can easily make a tiered cake, a cover for the rectangular baking pan so goodies can be stored or transported easily, and a rack that can be used for cooling, roasting, or as a trivet. This Chicago Metallic set can't be beat for its performance, ease of use, and price. It earned perfect scores in our tests for performance, and was just shy of a perfect score for ease of use since the pans lack handles.

We love the sharp corners and straight sides that produce professional-looking cakes, brownies, and bars. In terms of performance, the only difference was that the cookies took a little longer to bake than the manufacturer's instructions.

Since these grips also make the pans nonslip, keep in mind they might be a little difficult to take out of the oven. They performed very well across baking and roasting tests, but be warned that broccoli caused some staining and the pan required some elbow grease to clean.

The pans feature a wavy, textured pattern, which, according to the brand, allows for more airflow and even baking. One downside is the pattern imprinted the bottom of our cakes, so we recommend lining it with parchment if you'd like to avoid that.

The baking sheet trays in this set are ideal for home chefs. Included with this set are two handy quarter sheet trays (which offer the same quality of the half sheet tray, but are easy to clean in your sink and can also be easily placed in the dishwasher), a half-sheet pan, two jelly roll pans, a cookie sheet, and a pizza pan for any culinary task.

The bottom of each pan is textured to increase airflow for even cooking, and in our tests, cookies baked perfectly on the half sheet tray, and although the pan was a little hard to clean by hand, it produced good crispy veggies.
