The tool wipes away pulp from the inside, outside, and bottom of the cutting blade in one swipe, while protecting your fingers. While the juicer was a little loud in our Lab tests, you can’t go wrong for the price, speed, and results.
In addition to the new strainers and improved interior, this slow juicer comes with a double-sided cleaning brush that gets into all the crevices. In our Lab's testing, this model made some freshest-tasting green juice and we loved that you can control the amount of pulp.
It can accommodate large fruits and veggies in its larger section, and skinny, leafy greens in its smaller one. It also has a large chute which encourages ingredients to feed themselves into the auger with little help from the pusher.
Our favorite part is it comes in pink, mint or white, perfect for adding a pop of color to your day. The HP Slow Juicer was easy to assemble and use, and produced good juice.
Juice Fountain EliteBrevilleamazon.Libreville's top-notch JuiceFountain Elite powered through sturdy fruits and vegetables faster (and quieter!) In addition to being less work than other juicers on the market, the Huron's automatic operation makes it harder to clog or overfeed the hopper.
But because it's pricey, this Luke model's an investment we would recommend for true juice enthusiasts. Whether you're trying to get more nutrients into your diet or like to start your day with a big glass of greens, a good juicer makes it easy to whip up fresh-pressed produce in minutes.
In the Good Housekeeping Kitchen Lab, we tested the top juicers that will best help you kick off your day strong. When we test juicers, we juice carrots, which are hard and can sometimes taste bitter; kale, a popular leafy vegetable that's hard to juice and often jams in the machine; and apples, pulpy with a large diameter and oxidize quickly.
Brands like Seville and Kings have found a work-around and recently introduced new, wide-mouth slow juicers, which allows fruits like large apples to simply be quartered instead of chunked into 1-inch pieces. Whole ingredients are typically dropped into the wider feed tube and pulverized at a very high speed.
For example, in our leafy greens test, 100 grams of kale juiced in as quickly as 7 seconds, while it took upwards of 1 minute in the slow juicers. The juice from centrifugal juicers tends to come out a little foamy but most come with lidded pitchers and built-in strainers so you’ll never taste the difference.
The strainers are prone to build up, which could translate into a slower and messier juicing process for you. If the idea of just chowing down on a plate of broccoli and carrots sounds unappealing, juicing is an easy way to get your fix.
It should be noted that by juicing, you sacrifice the nutrients contained in the leftover pulp (which most people tend to discard or compost). But the upside is that the juice from fruits and vegetables tends to be a bit sweeter and smoother than cooked greens.
If you are interested in juicing it up with a juicer, Healthline recommends putting the following in your shopping cart: kale, carrots, beets, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, parsley, cucumbers, Swiss chard, wheatgrass, celery and tomatoes. Candidate at Michigan State University and Certified Nutrition Coach at Rave Reviews, recommends the Original Healthy Juicer for the task.
Sometimes the larger electric juicers have a tougher time extracting juice from leafy greens unless you add a large amount, which is not always feasible,” he says. “Nutrients are preserved using a manual cold-press machine due to lack of heat generation from a motor, and you’ll be able to squeeze all the juice out of the pulp as a result.
That’s why Glen Wilde, the New Zealand-based CEO & founder of the online wellness resource Diet to Success, recommends the Pick brand of juicers. “It’s a bit quieter than comparable juicers and doesn’t send food or juice flying all over the kitchen,” he says.
“The included brush simplifies cleaning the mesh filter basket, and the removable pieces are dishwasher safe. Wilde adds that “what’s notable about the Pick juicer is that it operates at a slower speed (i.e. heat reduction) to preserve vitamins and allows for maximum juice extraction,” he says.
Some models make it a pain to remove the pulp catcher and clean the unit, but that is not the case with this Seville juicer, according to Stephanie Mantilla, the Virginia-based founder of Plant Prosperous, a vegan-focused blog for families. Owen Burke/Business Insider Pros: Small size, intuitive design, 100% BPA-free plastic, 10-year motor warranty, easy to clean, high juice yield While Huron's HP Slow Juicer is the smallest machine we tested, it uses the same powerful motor as models that take up nearly twice the space (like the Omega VSJ843, for example).
It pulled the most liquid out of every single fruit or veggie we juiced, and consistently had among the driest discarded pulp (in these respects, it even outperformed our other recommendation from Huron, the H-AI Self-Feeding Juicer). The resulting juice was clean, bright, and refreshing, and contained little foam, although it wasn't quite as rich and intense as its pricier competitors' output.
A note to those who tend to juice while rushing out the door: if speed is of the essence, Huron's HP Slow Juicer may not be the machine for you. As far as its main duty goes, the Whole Slow Juicer's 3.2-inch-wide feeding spout can accommodate larger pieces of fruit than our top pick, and at 60 RPM it's a bit faster, too.
The extra speed may come at the expense of maximum juicing; compared to the Huron HP, the Kings squeezed less liquid out of our fruits and vegetables, and its wetter pulp suggested that there was some good stuff left behind in the discard pile. That being said, the Whole Slow Juicer produced the richest, most velvety juice we tried during our taste tests, with and without the detachable external strainer that helps catch any residual pulp.
There is one design quirk we should note, though: the chute makes an awkward turn towards the auger, which means harder fruits and vegetables like carrots and beets get hung up, while softer ones like grapes leave a significant amount of mush in the bend. We had to reverse the auger more times for the Kings than for any other juicer, and while we were able to send most of that aforementioned mush back through, it was an extra, messy step.
Small flaws considered, if you want a juicer that does it all, this is the only one we know of that can make smoothies, frozen desserts (with some trial and error), and citrus juice. There's a bit of debate whether the self-feeding hopper works well, but in our experience over the past two years we've only had two problems: once with peaches, and another time with pears.
Otherwise, everything we put into the hopper made it through to the auger and came out as juice, and the pulp was among the driest from the juicers we've tested (aside from our top pick, the Huron HP). If you find you don't like the self-feeding hopper, or want to use a chute for softer fruits, there's a two-inch-wide one in the kit, along with a fine and large strainer, so you have juicing options.
Owen Burke/Business Insider To test the juicers' ability to handle a variety of fruits and vegetables, we ran beets, carrots, kale, and black seedless grapes through each machine. We weighed the produce beforehand to make sure we were putting the exact same amount in each juicer, then measured the volume (fluid ounces) of the resulting juice.
And, of course, we measured taste, however subjectively, and found that some juices were more watery than others (we used a fine strainer throughout testing) while others were incredibly rich. We also pulled apart four juicers after speaking with Duncan Freak, a mechanical engineer at Exam Continuum, who posited that certain parts, including the augers, strainers, and receptacles were the same between Omega and HP.
And while both brands advertise that their juicers are made in Korea, they don't divulge that many of their parts come from the same set of factories as their competitors, Zhejiang Linux Motor Co., Ltd. Granted, this is a common case with many household appliances, and something we found to be true when researching for our guide to the best countertop ice makers, too.
Seville Blooper : This could be a handy machine if you happen to need a juicer and a blender at once, but it's large, and comes with a lot of parts you might not want to use (let alone store). We found the juice yield so low and the amount of foam so high, though, that on top of other detrimental factors such as size and noise, we decided against recommending it in this guide.
Hamilton Beach Big Mouth : This centrifugal high-speed juicer is more affordable than the Seville Juice Fountain Plus, but while it worked, it produced a ton of foam. Making your own juice at home is more cost effective, convenient, and lets you customize your blend.
This juicer is all about speed, convenience, and simplicity–we highly recommend it for those who are tight on space but want to juice frequently and quickly. Its titanium cutting disc and high-powered 700-watt motor pack a punch (but also make a blender-volume level of noise).
As with most centrifugal juicers, it didn’t yield as much juice from kale as masticating models, but the difference was slight. A very high-design machine, we also love the internal pulp container –it conserves counter space and keeps cleanup and assembly simple.
Some are excellent at just one task: getting every last drop of juice from citrus fruits, like oranges, limes, lemons, and grapefruit. This juicer comes in six cool colors: baby blue, green, pink, red, black, and cream.
Boasting a super strong and fast 1000-watt motor with two speed controls, this machine plows through piles of fruits and vegetables in a flash. A three-inch feed tube lets you juice whole fruits and vegetables with significantly less prep time.
This best juicer is built to last with titanium reinforced cutting blades that stay sharp longer and are made entirely of die-cast materials. It works quietly at slow speeds (only 80 RPM) to extract juice from all kinds of produce.
We did have to spend more time cutting fruits and vegetables up to fit them into the small feed tube and occasionally had to stop juicing and use the “reverse” feature to handle clogs. It also produced slightly less juice from hard fruits and vegetables, and as a horizontal model, it has a bigger countertop footprint.
We found vertical masticating juicers like the Tribes Slow star to be easier to assemble, use, and clean than horizontal models. It has a generous feed tube that makes it easier to prep produce with no motor jams at all–even putting whole leaves and stems of kale directly into the juicer didn’t clog it.
The pulp from the Tribes Slow star was also the driest of all the tests; this juicer machine squeezes every bit of juice from produce with high yields. The Slow star also serves as a multi-purpose kitchen tool; an included Mincing Attachment lets you make sorbets, nut butters, and even cookie dough.
Omega’s newest vertical masticating cold juicer, the VSJ843, is a great choice if you plan to juice leafy greens often and want easy clean-up and storage. Standing at a squat 15.5 inches, this quiet and low-profile juicer will easily fit under low-hanging cabinets or tuck away in a closet, too.
It worked quickly and quietly and can also be used to make nut milks, frozen fruit sorbets, and smoothies. This model comes with a 15-year warranty and is perfect for frequent quality juicing of leafy greens and other produce with easy cleanup.
Check out our detailed reviews and a comprehensive buying guide that will help you find the most suitable juicer for you! If you want a quick and straightforward way to make a huge step toward a healthy lifestyle, you should start using a juicer.
Start reading right away to find the right juice machine and get those nutrients to improve your health! A juicer is an appliance with or without a motor that can extract juice out of fruits and vegetables.
The method of processing juice will depend on the type of juicer that you select. Fruit and veggies juices are suitable and healthy for all ages and genders, and there are no restrictions as to who should use juicers.
It is perfect for those who don’t like eating their fruits and veggies but can drink them when mixed with other products in a tasty juice. Juicing vs. Blending While both processes are similar, and both deliver a healthy drink, there is a difference.
On the other hand, the juice is easy to drink, and you will surely enjoy it as long as you choose the right ingredients. You can find many amazing recipes online, so it shouldn’t be a problem to match your taste.
The market offers a wide range of centrifugal juicers, and their price varies from affordable to expensive. The downsides may include noise and the fact that high speeds generate heat, which can lower the number of nutrients in your juice.
Pros You can get juice in seconds These units can be quite affordable You can choose from a wide range of products Masticating units use augers to crush the fruits and veggies and deliver the juice.
The Best use : Masticating juicers are ideal for those who don’t mind waiting a bit to get the healthiest juice out there. You can use these appliances for soft and hard fruits and veggies, and rest assured that you will get a high yield from them.
Pros Two gears may increase the yield and versatility The level of nutrients will be extremely high These appliances can handle various fruits and veggies The Best use: Another excellent choice for a healthy juice and high yield from any produce, but keep in mind the versatility may come at a price.
The Best use : These units focus on citrus fruits, such as oranges, limes, and lemons. Instead of relying on a motor, they use different approaches to apply force and squeeze the juice from fruits or veggies.
Depending on the unit, you may need to pull the lever or turn the handle to start extracting juices. These machines are usually not versatile, which means they won’t fit all types of produce.
Pros Easy to use since they are pretty basic They can deliver the highest yield from wheatgrass Several approaches available The Best use : Manual juicers can be an excellent fit for wheatgrass, leafy greens, pomegranate, and citrus fruits, but you should pick a suitable unit.
Before you enter the process of selecting a suitable juicer, it is vital to know what appliance type you need. You can also find inexpensive machines that deliver healthy juice, as well as nutrition centers with mincing and other functions.
But if you want a versatile product, you should go with centrifugal, masticating, or double gear juice machines. Although the yield depends on the unit, these are usually capable of processing soft and hard veggies and leafy greens.
The general rule is that vertical juicers have a smaller footprint than horizontal units, but also take more room height-wise. If you don’t plan to invest plenty of money, you may settle for a product that won’t last for more than a year or two.
That way, you can ensure the juicer is in the mode most suitable to what you are juicing, whether those are leafy greens, soft veggies, or hard fruits. On top of that, it enables the appliance to stay reasonably quiet for a juicer.
You can expect impressive juice yield and quality, and we were positively surprised by the automatic pulp separator. The product is more than a masticating juicer because it comes with numerous attachments that turn it into a nutrition center.
Cons It is a horizontal juicer, which means it has a big footprint Some other units have stronger motors The dual-speed system contributes to versatility and allows the machine to deal with both hard and soft fruits and veggies.
It is a shame that the design has a minor flaw that prevents you from filling the pitcher to the top without dripping. The machine has 40,000 pores in the filter to keep even the small pulp pieces out of your juice.
The dual-stage mastication system will ensure the machine gives one more push at the end of juicing. Please note that the chute is a bit narrow (1 ½-inch in diameter) since it is an older model.
If you compare, you will notice that there are slower masticating juicers out there, but the difference is small. It is a versatile and durable unit, which explains the high price tag.
It is possible to adjust the pressure to ensure that the machine deals with the specific product optimally. Once you finish the juicing process, you can disassemble and clean the appliance with the provided tools.
The product has a small footprint since it falls into the category of vertical cold press juicers. The dual blade places it among twin-gear appliances, and the performance puts it at the top of that class.
While it delivers impressive yield in most cases, the machine might have a bit of trouble with leafy greens. It is worth noting that you receive a juice cap to prevent leakages, and while it does an excellent job, it is not of the same quality as other parts.
The moment you see their 932 hand press juicer, you see an attractive design and color combination. All parts have an enamel finish to resist citrus acids and normal wear and tear.
Apart from allowing you to measure the quantity of lemon juice, it also makes the product easy to use for kids. It sounds impressive, but the force you will generate once you pull the handle is 2,000 pounds.
Thanks to that, you can easily squeeze oranges, lemons, limes, and other citrus fruits. The drip collection cup is a convenient touch that keeps the process neat.
The silver color dominates the design, and the base is made of stainless steel with a die-cast finish. Thanks to that, you can expect that citrus fruit residue won’t harm any parts of your appliance.
The drip control has been done impressively thanks to the uniquely designed juice spout. We should mention that the unit was made for citrus fruits, which you can figure out by looking at the cone at the top.
The dual-switch arm makes the juicing process simple, but it is a shame there is no cover to protect the parts from dust when not in use. Otherwise, you may risk the small parts of fruits sticking to some components, which might make them impossible to clean.
Some people love manual juicers because you are confident the process will keep a high quantity of nutrients. Healthy Juicer has been around for a long time due to its simplicity of use and consistency in providing excellent results.
It will take a bit of trial and error until you find the optimal load for the juicer. However, it doesn’t look as attractive as other juicers since the color combination seems a bit outdated.
You will find several Seville juicers on our list, but BJE200XL is a bargain deal for a reason. The cutting disc is made of stainless steel and the body from a durable polymer.
Hamilton Beach Juicer is a centrifugal machine with an attractive black design. You can also choose the classic silver variant, but we believe this color combination is more appealing.
Either way, you will get BPA-free materials, which means your juice will be loaded with nutrients and free from harmful compounds. The operation process is simple, and the only thing you need to do is to turn the machine on and watch the magic happen.
You don’t have to waste a lot of time preparing food because the machine comes with a three-inch chute. It is large enough even for big product pieces, which promotes the comfort of using the device.
However, that is a small price to pay for the impressive yield and dry pulp you get at the end of the process. The product doesn’t have a big footprint but make sure the surface you put it on is even.
Cons The machine may be prone to “walking” while in operation It is quite loud, even for a juicer Where to buy: Click here >> to see the latest price on Amazon It is time to discuss the most important features that your juicer should have.
That reflects in nutrient quantity, which is highest in masticating and titrating juicers. Citrus and manual juicers also use the cold-press approach to secure the highest nutrient load.
Centrifugal juicers may take away some nutrients due to high speed and heat, but they will still deliver a healthy load. While some juicers are versatile, the return may vary from the fruit or veggie you place inside.
Some appliances might deliver a high yield from apples and oranges, but fail when it comes to leafy greens. Some manual juicers are also relatively quick and straightforward once you set up the device.
Masticating and titrating juicers may take a bit more time, but they will return the favor of being patient by delivering the highest nutrient load. The general rule is that you can keep your juice up to free days in the fridge, and an airtight container.
Using a juicer is not rocket science, but the manufacturers are those who need to secure smooth operation. The feeder chute size is directly related to the convenience and ease of using your juicer.
That way, you will minimize food preparation as you can fit big chunks of fruits and veggies in the chute. For example, you can use a high-speed setting for soft veggies, and low-speed adjustment to maximize the yield from hard fruits.
A high-speed juicer may have variable speeds, and low-speed units may feature an adjustable end cap to ensure the appliance uses the correct settings for the product you are processing. The cleaning process is a bit of a hassle for all juicers, and you need to make your peace with that.
Some companies will even provide tools like scrapers and brushes to make the cleaning more manageable. Your juicer may have different accessories and attachments that enable it to perform extra functions.
Those may include mincing garlic or meat, grinding the coffee, or making pasta. These functions take the usability of these appliances beyond juicing, which means you can use these devices while preparing meals, too.
However, you can expect an excellent ratio of cost and quality at this price range. These offer premium components and durability, as well as advanced functions and features.
Regardless of the price range, make sure that you get plenty of bang for the buck. Their portfolio includes espresso and coffee machines, food processors, cookers, blenders, etc.
Tribes focuses on designing kitchen and household appliances that can make your life easier and healthier. You can find juicers of different types and innovative machines that meet and exceed expectations.
Apart from juicers, they also design blenders, grinders, food processors and dehydrators, deep fryers, etc. The unusual approach worked, and more than four decades after Kings was established in 1978, it is a reputable household appliance brand.
It is interesting to note that Outer originally started by manufacturing hair clippers, and the electric branch was initiated in 1946. It is nice when the company specializes in designing juicers as they can focus on the requirements of users.
That will make the cleaning process more manageable as the food parts won’t dry and stick to the components. These models can usually tear through all fruits and veggies, thus allowing a new juice maker to experiment without fear.
As such, you’ll be able to build your daily juice making a habit in no time with a fast juicer. This process takes time but tends to result in drier pulp and larger juice yields.
As such, you can count on its juice to contain every nutrient found in your favorite fruits and veggies. These juicers use a spinning internal blade system to tear though fruits and veggies of all sizes and densities.
While some juice quality is lost in this process, these fast juicers make up for it by being easier to operate overall. A masticating machine will ensure the highest nutrient load and the longest juice fridge life.
We suggest putting the juice in an airtight container as that will prevent oxidation from killing nutrients inside. If you drink too much green juice, you may deal with nausea and stomach upset.
The optimal dose is a single glass of green juice loaded with nutrients every day. Some manufacturers include mincing and grinding attachments in the package, which turns their juicers into actual nutrition centers.
A: A centrifugal juicer utilizes high speeds, which generate heat. On the other hand, a cold-pressed juicer doesn’t allow the heat to destroy nutrients.
A: The electric juicers may be more versatile overall, but the choice is ultimately a matter of preference. For example, a manual juicer can handle wheatgrass, and maybe even some leafy greens, better than any electric appliance out there.
On the other hand, electric juicers can usually be used for various fruits and veggies, and they secure a high yield from all of them. All the products presented in our reviews feature an excellent ration between durability and performance.
You want to stick to a reliable brand when choosing a juicer, but you also need the appliance to fit your budget. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases when you click on the link, but you are not charged extra.
The downside of this type is that it requires you to cut the ingredients into small pieces before placing them in the juicer. Its disadvantage is that the motor has a large capacity, and when operating, it creates high heat that can make the juices lose its natural flavor or color.
You don’t have to worry about cutting the ingredients or removing seeds before the juicing process with the citrus juicer. Meanwhile, the juicers from Cuisinart and Kings brands will give you a glass of fresher and purer juice.

So if you are a busy person and don’t want to spend a lot of time waiting, the centrifugal juicer is the right choice. With hard-peeled fruits like mango, guava, or watermelon, peel the skin before putting it in the juicer for a better juice.
I usually squeeze the fruit in the morning, and I’m not at all worried that it might disturb the sleep of everyone in my house because the machine works very quietly, without making a loud noise. Its quiet performance and simple exterior offers a mere hint of a very capable juicer, and it only gets better the more you use it.
The stainless steel spout provides enough clearance for even tall tumblers, even as it prevents pulp from clogging up the works. Offering similar features and capabilities as the similarly-priced Slow Masticating Juicer, it ups the ante with an innovative seven segment spiral system that ensures even more efficient nutrient extraction.
Comparing favorably to the higher-priced Seville Joe Cross Juicer, it gives you all the same performance and capabilities you need to juice whatever strikes your fancy. The Pick Hand Press Electric Citrus Juicer is equipped with a 100-watt motor that offers surprisingly powerful performance.
Two cones are included in the package: one suitable for juicing oranges and grapefruits and one for lemons and limes. The Electric Citrus Juicer works on a pressure sensor system, which enables one press start and stop action.
This mechanism works in conjunction with the efficient filtration system, resulting in only smooth and nutritious juice. Users of the Pick Citrus Juicer are drawn mainly to the ease and simplicity by which fruits can be processed into refreshing drinks.
With this surprisingly versatile unit, you only need a ready supply of citrus fruits handy in order to have fresh and nutritious juice any time you feel like it. Features such as the stainless steel sieve and two different-sized cones give you the versatility to handle any type of citrus fruit.
The Electric Citrus Juicer ’s stainless steel sieve strains out most of the pulp, leaving only the juice…at least in theory. Both large and small extracting cones are provided, so you could just as easily juice grapefruits as you would a lime.
The Westinghouse Select Series Electric Citrus Juicer is a surprisingly durable unit that can handle even prolonged juicing periods. Operating on a modest 40 watts of power, it nevertheless has enough…HRM juice to effectively extract maximum nutrients from citrus fruits.
One feature that has endeared the Juice man to many users is the spout, which can be flipped up to stop the flow of juice. This feature enhances the performance of the unit considerably, making the somewhat under powered motor sufficient for most tasks.
But beneath its minimalist exterior of Stormtrooper white is a surprising combination of power and features that deliver pretty amazing results. This particular feature is quite handy as it gives you time to scrounge around for a suitable container if you have forgotten to prepare one in your excitement.
The sheer simplicity and elegance are more than enough to warrant the top spot in our roundup of the best citrus juicers. Designed for maximum efficiency and durability, it features a patented auger system that results in more juice extracted and more nutrition retained.
Furthermore, Argus Le claims that the juice produced by the Slow Juicer is better tasting than that which you could extract from other models. In addition to maximizing juice extraction, this also results in quiet performance as compared to other juicers.
The Argus Le Slow Juicer has clearly been designed to give users the full nutritional benefit of the juice that they make. This prevents the loss of nutrients due to oxidation and heat buildup, while also retaining the freshness and flavor of the juice.
According to Argus Le, the Slow Juicer is capable of delivering 30% more juice than similar models. Most users of the Slow Juicer experienced a bit of sticker shock when they realized the price of the unit.
Those that did prevail where rewarded by a very capable masticating juicer that delivered pretty impressive performance. Although it was more than capable of handling apples and carrots, one user didn’t have as much luck with more fibrous vegetables.
The Argus Le Slow Juicer is a fairly capable device that is letdown a bit by its high price tag. For the money that you would pay for this, you could easily get a more versatile unit that won’t choke when called upon to juice high fiber vegetables.
Although not as quiet as the Argus Le, its 60 dB noise level probably won’t have the neighbors banging on your door. Another thing masticating juicers are known for is their ability to extract the maximum amount of nutrients from food and ingredients.
The Pick definitely lives up to that promise, with a 60 RPM motor that spins at a sufficiently slow speed to ensure minimal nutrient loss. This slow speed also gives the Pick maximum extracting ability, with as much as 90% of the juice in fruit ending up in your glass.
One user reported being able to utilize the two strainers and the ice cream accessory to make everything from vegetable juice to baby food, and even soy milk. Juices can be as smooth or as pulpy as desired, which gives users more options in determining the final result.
You also get a lot more juice out of your produce–and it won’t be the foamy kind that settles into layers of sediments soon after extraction. The Simplest is equipped with a slowly rotating auger that squeezes as much juice as possible from fruits and vegetables of various kinds.
It is amazingly effective at juicing leafy green veggies, even handles wheatgrass with ease. Although not the slowest extraction speed we’ve seen in a masticating juicer, it is slow enough to ensure that no nutrients are lost to heat and oxidation.
The Simplest Slow Masticating Juicer is equally capable of extracting juice from both hard and soft produce. It even has a reverse function that prevents clogging, so you are able to juice for a lot longer as compared to other brands.
Users of the Simplest Slow Masticating Juicer are unanimous in praising the unit’s simplicity and performance. Low maintenance appears to be a selling point for this design, and the small form factor further enhanced its appeal.
The Simplest Slow Masticating Juicer is priced a lot less than other models that offer similar functionality. Also, from Pick, the Slow Masticating Extractor features an “upgraded spiral system” that supposedly ensures more efficient nutrient extraction.
Like all masticating juicers, this one operates at a very slow speed, preventing heat buildup and oxidation from robbing you of your juice’s essential nutrients. Pick seems to take great pride in the Slow Masticating Extractor’s upgraded spiral system, and we have to say that we totally get it.
Consisting of seven individual segments, the spiral processes fruit and vegetable matter extremely efficiently, so that most of the juice is drawn out. A former user of one of the brands mentioned above finally gave up in frustration after one too many clogging episodes.
The user in question subsequently switched to the Pick, and he couldn’t be happier with its smooth and flawless operation. The Pick Slow Masticating Extractor is one of those juicers that just seem to take what you throw at it and keep on ticking.
From its slick and glossy exterior to its high-quality components, this is an elegant unit that serves as a great introduction to centrifugal juicers. From the generously-sized chute to the large jug and pulp container, you get the impression that this is one juicer that is built to handle big jobs.
The cutting disc made of high-grade stainless steel works in conjunction with the micro mesh filter, ensuring efficient nutrient extraction from any fruits or vegetables. The jug can hold as much as 60 ounces of your freshly squeezed juice, while a 2.5 liter pulp container takes care of the rest.
Seville enjoys a pretty good reputation among consumers, and the Joe Cross Juicer is no different. After realizing how much easier juicing was with this model, he subsequently made the switch and never looked back.
One other user was pleasantly surprised to find that the Joe Cross worked just as well with leafy greens, contrary to what other reviewers have said. For this particular user, processing a bunch of green veggies and ending up with 60-ounces of nutritious vegetable juice sealed the deal.
With its power, performance, and generous capacity, the Joe Cross Juicer definitely upholds the company’s tradition of excellence. Also, from Seville, the Compact Juice Fountain delivers outstanding performance that poses some serious competition to its higher-priced sibling.
In fact, if you don’t need the sheer volume of juice that the Joe Cross is able to produce, this might very well be the better option for you. At the heart of the Compact Juice Fountain is the highly-efficient extraction system consisting of a titanium-reinforced cutting disc and a high-grade micro mesh filter.
The filter itself is an Italian design also made of stainless steel, and it effectively extracts the nutrients from the pulp produced by the cutter. Working in conjunction with each other, these two components produce quality juice with its full nutritional value intact.
Like the Joe Cross Juicer, the Compact Juice Fountain also features a 3-inch feeding chute. The pulp container holds “only” 1.7 liters (as opposed to the Joe Cross’s 2.5), but this is certainly more than adequate for most users.
Spinning at 14,000 RPM, it can pretty much lay waste to any organic matter unfortunate enough to get thrown into its depths. Those who thought they were “settling” for a lesser unit with the Compact Juice Fountain were pleasantly surprised at its capabilities.
Power, performance, and versatility are the main selling points of this model, and it definitely delivers on all those counts. Considering that you get pretty much the same features and capabilities as the higher-priced Joe Cross Juicer, this is an even better deal at a lower cost.
With a very capable motor that will squeeze the juice out of the hardest and most fibrous vegetables without flinching, this is one juicer that will see a lot of action in your kitchen. Of course, the motor is largely responsible for processing all that fruit and vegetable matter into tasty juice. Other features include a removable pulp container, a splash-free lid, and a convenient pouring spout.
Able to accommodate even whole fruits and vegetables, this centrifugal juicer ’s design helps save you a lot of time and effort on pre-prep. Of course, power is what attracts many to centrifugal juicers, and you will be glad to know that the Wide Mouth has loads of it to spare.
With Gourmet’s exclusive CentriTract Centrifugal Extraction System, you get the full nutritional benefits of whatever it is you’re juicing. With the Wide Mouth’s generously-sized feeding chute, you won’t have to take the time to slice and dice your fruits and vegetables beforehand.
With a pretty respectable 800-watt motor, the Gourmet turns even the toughest fruits and vegetables into delectable juice in no time. As expected, the large feeding chute of the Wide Mouth is the feature that attracted the most attention.
The Gourmet Wide Mouth Fruit Centrifugal Juicer is priced so affordably that few users would likely find fault with it. For the past few decades, society has been going on a health bandwagon from reducing cholesterol to strict calorie intake.

Large fruit and vegetable pieces seem to find their way either out of the juicer or on the side of the discharge bin. The top plastic portion can experience a breakage when you have to pull the metal bar of it.

This juicer is able to be a handy kitchen helper to assist you in numerous processes that could potentially take more time and energy. The material comprises GE Ult em Auger which is impressively eight times stronger than plastics.
A lower speed approach to the number of Rpm ensures the minimizing of clogging, juice foaming, or build-up of heat. An auto pulp-ejection facilitates the continuous operation for a high yield with dry pulp.
The lower speed levels not only help to maximize the number of nutrients and antioxidants extracted, but they also do not take longer for the juicer to perform. Prep time can be longer than desired because the feed tube is on the smaller side.
Squishy fruits can be troublesome which is problematic if you want to produce juice of strawberries, pineapples and so on. If you experience an unfortunate situation of needing parts replaced, take comfort in that there has not been a common complaint of Omega juicer replacement parts taking a while like other juicer brands.
Our next best juicer machine is one of the best in the market as it gives a high-class performance and gourmet juicing results. The interesting attribute of Omega is that the juicers are designed with a vertical stainless steel basket that influences the consistent spinning of juice from pulp for a silky and smooth drink.

Yes, in contrast to a traditional juicer, a cold press method will give you 35% more juice from the exact amount of fruits and vegetables. With all the choices out there, I want to help you find the best slow masticating juicers for the money, without spending a fortune.
I put together a comparison table together of the top slow masticating juicers to give you a brief overview. NC900 has a drum cap that is adjustable to five positions, so can manage pulp output.
It provides amazingly high yields, which equates to less produce spend. This is because the nc900 uses a single gear to juice fruits and vegetables, working at the low speed of 80 Rpm (rotations per minute).
Naturally, it can handle all kinds of soft and traditional citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and limes, but there is also plenty of variety available. I use my Omega to make juices from a selection of different leafy greens, wheatgrass and healthy vegetables like celery, carrots & beets as the resulting juice retains all the nutrients and goodness found in the veggies.
This compact masticating juicer also has a truly state-of-the-art look, the eye-catching silver plating will make it stand out in any kitchen. Easy to clean and as versatile as anything on the market, I’ll simply repeat what I said earlier; the Omega nc900 Nutrition Center is the best single auger slow masticating juicer on the market today.
I promised that I would be able to find a safe, reliable and cheap juicer for any family on a budget, here it is! Higher costs sometimes lead to superior products, but this is a perfectly high-quality juicer that will not break the bank.
However, if a reasonable price is your priority, and you are shopping at the lower end of the budget scale, this is the product for you. This is a slow masticating juicer, which means the auger will spin at the steady pace of 80 RPM, at a very low and quiet volume.
Patience is rewarded to anybody making use of this juicer, as you’ll be sipping a delicious drink straight from the device with very little foam to contend with! This device can be easily pulled apart for cleaning, while it’s also dishwasher-safe if you prefer not to get your hands dirty.
You’ll receive a three-year warranty from Pick if you decide to purchase this model, but from my experience it should not be required. I have found this juicer to be perfectly reliable, and it did not let me down when I fed solid vegetables into the chute such as raw carrots and beets.
If you’re on the lookout for the best affordable masticating juicer available on today’s market, you really can’t go wrong with this horizontal model. If you don’t want to spend time chopping and cutting your fruit and veg before juicing, this vertical masticating juicer is the best model for you.
That’s pretty slow by professional juicer standards, and it ensures that any and all nutrients and enzymes are retained throughout the process. If you can accommodate this juicer, however, you will find that it meets all your needs and the ability to juice full size produce will truly save you time.
In addition to standard fruit and vegetable juices, this model also creates frozen sorbets and smoothies. This professional-standard juicer runs at 110 Rpm, but no nutrients or vitamins are sacrificed as a result of these rapid rotations.
These magnets ensure that every possible mineral available from the ingredients of your recipe is pulled into the juice. If you are going to invest in a professional juicer, you will understandably hope that you will need to upgrade or replace it any time soon.
This juicer is also constructed entirely from stainless steel, which means that you don’t need to worry about plastic components cracking and breaking through wear and tear. Mixing and alternating between hard and soft fruit and vegetables ensures the best performance.
It’s a real bonus to be able to pick up a professionally certified model at an affordable price, and the lengthy warranty means that there’s no need to worry in the unlikely event of experiencing a problem. If you hate being woken up on a lazy weekend morning by the clanking and grinding of a kitchen appliance, consider this model.
It’s virtually silent, ensuring that your family can enjoy a nutritious liquid breakfast without disturbing anybody! We are all busy people, so the idea of a slow juicer may not initially sound appealing.
In the case of the Slow star SW-2000, it’s because the juicer is as quiet as a mouse and the slow process retains important vitamins and minerals found in the fruits/vegetables. Like most of the best juicers, this model can create all kinds of diverse and delicious items such as dessert sorbets or sauces.
Fruit and vegetables are also less likely to jam thanks to these twin blades, and the result is less pulp in your juice. It’s also perfect for stringy vegetables, ensuring that your kale, celery and spinach comes out ready to drink.
It’s the best wide chute slow masticating juicer around, so you’ll be able to feed plenty of fruit and vegetables into a single session! Like all the juicers that I’m discussing here, this device runs at a slow rate to ensure that all possible nutrients and enzymes are retained.
In the case of this Kg model, the blades operate at a sweet spot between the other juicers that I have discussed, namely 43 Rpm. This makes for a great combination of pressure and speed, as this slow juicer does a very thorough job of juicing fruit and vegetables without sacrificing goodness.
It’s a stylish silver color, and the components are entirely BPA-free so there’s no need to worry about health implications. I found that this saved a huge amount of time, both in terms of chopping the solids before juicing them and in standing over the appliance.
The time savings is a big selling point; if there is one minor snag with this juicer it’s with how long it can perform without a break. This vertical masticating juicer will find itself struggling if used for more than ten minutes consecutively.
However, the wide chute means that you can get more juicing done in those ten minutes than some competitors can offer, so it’s a fair trade. If you have a business that relies upon serving delicious juices, you’re going to want the best heavy-duty masticating juicer possible.
It has a performance to match this status though and does not struggle with large quantities of produce being fed through the device in quick succession. It’s very durable and will be able to cope with most raw foods, though you will have to chop things down to size in order to fit them into the chute.
It should also be noted that the powerful engine of this juicer runs a little hotter, meaning that the juice may not stay fresh for quite as long. If you’re looking to produce substantial quantities of juice for rapid consumption, however, this heavy-duty model from Champion is one of the best masticating juicers on the market.
It’s very solid and substantial, constructed from BPA-free plastic, and the aesthetic is simple enough to match any kitchen. So it’s a little heavier than some horizontal models but it certainly will not wobble or topple on a kitchen countertop, and it stands at 17.5 × 14 × 10.8.
Once fed into the juicer, blades that run at 60 Rpm compress fruits and vegetables without comprising the health benefits found within. As always, this means that you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of fresh, nutritious juice.
I certainly could not disagree with that assertion; Kings has created an excellent product here that is well worth your consideration. This Big Boss Cold Press Heavy Duty contains a powerful 150W motor.
Like other masticating juicers, it presses fruits and vegetables to slowly extract juice from their cell walls. Kings NS-850 Silent Juicers slow speed squeezes nutrients and enzymes from produce without accelerating their oxidation.
It has the compact size and sleek design you want in an upright juicer, and its two-step safety start system. The general information articles are a great place to start before reading the masticating juicer reviews.

Powered by a 110-volt motor, the Tribes Green Star Elite can apply maximum torque while still moving slow so as not to generate heat and destroy any nutrients.
It features a specially designed mastication system that imitates human teeth and chewing. With extra features for homogenizing and pasta making, you are sure to get your money ’s worth from the Tribes Green Star Elite.

A juice containing fresh fruits and vegetables is a quick way to get a load of vitamins and minerals in one sitting (or on the go). It is a soft serve frozen dessert made with their signature fresh juices, currently being offered in six unique flavors.
As the name implies, the juice is extracted with a non-heat method, which allows for most of the nutrients to remain intact. As soon as you break open the cell walls, the fruits and vegetables will begin to oxidize and lose their nutrients.
For slow (or masticating) juicers, you can expect a juice to last up to 72 hours with minimal nutrient loss. While it is still ideal to consume directly after juicing, freezing is a good option for those who want to prepare a batch ahead of time.
Freezing will preserve most of the nutrients and is a much better option than drinking juice that is several days old. Everyone has different needs when it comes to juicing, I hope my juicer reviews help make your decision easier.
