I beg to disagree Sorry to see the negative review-my husband and I are good cooks (we have an original copy of Julia's Mastering The Art, now held together duct tape) but the 1 thing we could never do well was deep fry-NOT ANYMORE!!! The filtration system is great, and makes the large amount of oil needed a reasonable cost.
